Kinshasa, April 1st, 2021 (CPA).- FC Renaissance of Congo de Kinshasa lost to FC Saint Eloi Lupopo de Lubumbashi by the score of 0-2, on Wednesday at the Martyrs of Pentecost stadium, in Kinshasa, in late match of the 17th day of the 26th National Football League Championship (LINAFOOT).
A balanced game for a quarter of an hour, before Lupopo could take advantage of a blunder by the defense of « Bana Fibo » to open the scoring by Héritier Kasongo (15th), the score will remain unchanged until the break.
On resumption, the two formations proceed by counter and defensive regroupings, but the pressure of the railway workers ends up paying with the realization of Louison Sefu (58th) for the 2-0.
With this victory, Lupopo is in second position with 42 points in 23 outings, behind TP Mazembe of Lubumbashi, leader with 43 points. Renaissance of Congo, for its part, occupies 10th place with 25 points in 21 games.
