Kisangani, April 5th, 2021 (CPA).– The interim governor of the Province of Tshopo, Maurice Abibu Sakapela Bin, received in audience, on Monday March 29, a mixed delegation made up of delegates from the NGE construction company, based in Goma, and the Roads Office (OR), came to announce the start, in the coming days, of the rehabilitation of the Kisangani-Walikale road axis.
For the head of the delegation, Passy Maliangu Faziri, the rehabilitation of this interprovincial road is the result of a public-private partnership. Thus, he requested the support of the provincial authority so that the works take place in optimal conditions, insofar as the works which start during this current month of April, once completed, will facilitate trade between the provinces of Tshopo and North Kivu. For his part, the head of the interim provincial executive, Maurice Abibu, reassured his hosts of his support and that of the entire population of Tshopo province, hoping that the work will come to fruition.
