100 new cases of Covid-19 recorded in March in South Kivu


Bukavu, April 5th, 2021 (CPA).- The provincial Minister of Health in South Kivu, Cosmos Bishisha, in an interview with the press on Friday, indicated that his province has registered a hundred new cases of Covid-19 during of March 2021. According to Minister Bishisha, 3 cases of death were recorded last March, bringing the cumulative number of deaths to 59 and that more than a hundred people were cured during the same period, bringing the cumulative number of cures to 649 cases.

In view of these figures, Minister Bishisha said that the Covid-19 is still within our walls before calling on the population of South Kivu to be aware of and unfailingly respect the barrier gestures issued by the authorities in order to protect themselves against this pandemic and eradicate this scourge which has caused untold havoc across the world.
