Price stability of agricultural products at Bulungu markets in Kwilu

Kikwit, May 22nd, 2021 (CPA).- Price stability for agricultural products has been observed from January to date in Bulungu markets, the CPA noted. According to some vendors approached by the CPA, This situation is justified by the abundance of food products in the markets from areas near Bulungu. A basin of cassava is always traded at 10,000FC, that of maize 20,000FC same price with that of squash, a can of palm oil still sells for 10,000FC.

These products mainly come from the surrounding villages, notably from the Nko, Nkara, Kwilu Kimbata and Dwe sectors. This stability provokes the enthusiasm of traders from Kikwit, Kinshasa, Tshikapa and Bandundu-ville who take the opportunity to buy products at low prices. ACP/
