Kinshasa, May 22nd, 2021 (CPA).– National ministers who are members of the Humanitarian Response Committee reflected on Thursday under the chairmanship of the Minister of State in charge of the budget, Aimé Boji Sangara and at the request of the Prime Minister on the government’s strategy of  » provide humanitarian assistance to the population of the East during the period of the state of siege. According to the boss of the budget, although being at the end of the fiscal year, the government, at the request of the President of the Republic, will have to make available the means to meet the needs of this population. Coming out of the meeting room, Modeste Mutinga, Minister of Social Affairs, told the press that they have developed the tools necessary to start the emergency activity in the East of the Republic where it has been established the state of siege. Stating that the government will find means to meet the demand of the population, the speaker hammered: « We are therefore looking for extraordinary means on the orders of the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister, and we believe that the government will find them in order to quench the thirst of the population in the east of the country ”. Took part in this meeting, in addition to the Minister of State in charge of the budget and that of Social Affairs, the ministers of vocational training, Antoinette Kipulu, of Gender, Family and Child, Gisèle Ndaya Luseba, in charge of people living with handicap, Irène Esambo, Human Rights, Albert Fabrice Pwela, Health, Jean-Jacques Mbungani and the Deputy Budget Minister, Élysée Bokumwana Maposo.
