Bukavu, May 22nd, 2021 (CPA) – 374 people have already received the AstraZeneca vaccine in the 11 operational vaccination sites in the city of Bukavu, capital of the province of South Kivu, to fight against Covid-19 in this province. Provincial Health Minister Cosmos Kusimwa Bishisha said this in a press interview on Wednesday. On this occasion, he indicated that the provincial government is studying to find a strategy that can push the target people to get vaccinated. « I am the first vaccine in the province and for a week now, my body has shown no signs of weakness or developed any abnormalities, contrary to the claims of some people, » he reassured. He also announced the organization, in the coming days, of the vaccination campaign against Covid in Uvira, Walungu and Kabare.
