He declared at the end of the hearing that together, they spoke about the problem of movement of prisoners and the creation of peace courts in decentralized territorial entities, before adding that the Minister of State has reacted favorably and said it was ready to respond quickly to all these problems.

For the movement of prisoners, he said, Ms. Rose Mutomno promised to get fully involved in a short time in order to find a solution, while planning an upcoming visit to the prisons of the province of Haut- Katanga in order to make an inventory of the situation of the prisoners.

Currently, the provincial government has found a palliative solution with regard to food assistance for prisoners, said Jean-Claude Kamfwa, before stressing that “As soon as we are presented with the situation, we do it. Regarding the movement of prisoners who are sentenced to death and who constitute a danger, it is therefore difficult for the province to provide a palliative solution because it is a matter for national authorities « .
