Closure in Bandundu of the work of the extraordinary session of July 2021


Bandundu, July 17th, 2021 (CPA).- The works of the July 2021 extraordinary session at the Kwilu Provincial Assembly (APK) were closed on Wednesday in the plenary hall of this deliberative body during a brief ceremony chaired by its president, Donald Sindani, in the presence of local notabilities.

This extraordinary session consisted mainly in the treatment of matters of an urgent nature, not debated during the two previous ordinary sessions of September 2020 and March 2021 which were disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic, said Mr. Sindani in his speech. Circumstance.

It was a question, he specified, of the vote of the edicts bearing in particular procedures relating to the declaration, the base, the control and the methods of collection of the receipts of the province of Kwilu and regulation of the noise pollution in the Kwilu as well as the adoption of ad hoc reports on in particular the EPST / Kwilu 2 and the administrative and financial control of the outgoing APK office.

The president of the legislative organ evoked on this occasion, recommendations resulting from the various reports adopted by the plenary during the extraordinary session, which will be addressed to the provincial government during the parliamentary recess, with a view to making the necessary corrections in the various areas concerned, before inviting the provincial executive to issue implementing decrees for the implementation of these initiatives.

Finally, he congratulated the determination and diligence of the provincial deputies to agree to work without requiring any payment before and during the work of this extraordinary session, wishing them good parliamentary vacations in their respective fiefdoms. ACP/
