ESU Minister chairs the preparatory workshop for the sector’s general estates in Boma


Kinshasa, September 1st, 2021 (CPA).- The Minister in charge of Higher and University Education (ESU), Muhindo Nzangi, chaired Monday at the Joseph Kasavubu University in Boma, in the province of Kongo central, the preparatory workshop of the states generals in his sector, the minister’s office reported to the CPA on Tuesday.

On this occasion, the Minister invited all members of the ESU Establishments in this province to participate actively in this workshop organized by the Preparatory Coordination of the Estates General of the ESU, to make their expected contributions to these meetings which will be held, from September 6th to 10th, 2021, in Lubumbashi.

During these, it will be a question of raising the various problems that plague the ESU, of requalifying, rectifying and innovating the Congolese education sector, in relation to the existing legal arsenal, with a view to boosting it. towards international standards.

The DRC’s higher and university education needs reforms to train an important type of man for the transformation of society, said Minister Muhindo Nzangi.

The Minister of ESU has been staying in the province of Kongo central since last week as part of the celebration of the International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition, organized by the Congolese government, in collaboration with the ‘UNESCO, it is informed. ACP/
