Kinshasa, September 28th, 2021 (CPA),– The Minister in charge of Mines, Antoinette N’samba Kalambayi who has been staying in the United Arab Emirates since Monday, September 27th, presented the business opportunities offered by the Congolese mining sector during an exchange of views on the spot with investors, the CPA learned Tuesday from the Ministry in charge of Mines.

According to the source, Minister N’samba who responded to the invitation of the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates, Suhahil Mohamed Al Marzouet, highlighted the advantages offered by the sector and the Congolese mining code, stressing that the mining industry of the DRC is of paramount importance.

Its participation in this meeting of exchanges indicates the same source, will make it possible to boost investments in the mining sector by strengthening the exchange of information and experiences in the fields of mining, energy and infrastructure in the geostrategic evolution of the hour.

This meeting is an opportunity for the Minister in charge of Mines to present in addition to the opportunities offered by the DRC in the mining sector in general and more particularly the establishment of gold refineries and diamond cutting.

The mission of the Minister in charge of Mines in the United Arab Emirates, falls within the framework, not only of the search for solutions to the problems detected in the Congolese mining sector, during the Estates General, but also of her roaming in the northern provinces. -Kivu, South Kivu, Ituri, Lualaba and Haut-Katanga where analyzes have shown that the mining sector needs investors and a capital injection.
