The possibilities of investing in the DRC discussed between Didier Budimbu and a Ukrainian delegation

          The Minister in charge of Hydrocarbons surrounded by Ukrainian investors

Kinshasa, September 28th, 2021 (CPA), – The Minister of Hydrocarbons, Didier Budimbu, exchanged views on Monday, September 27 in Kinshasa, with a delegation of Ukrainian investors led by Mr. Yuri Mysiahim, member of the Ukrainian parliament, on the possibilities to invest in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), in the hydrocarbons sector, indicates a press release from the Ministry of Hydrocarbons received Tuesday at the CPA.

According to the source, this delegation has set its sights on the DRC, expressing the wish to give the DRC the benefit of its downstream oil expertise in the exploitation of methane gas contained in Lake Kivu.

For his part, Minister Didier Budimbu welcomed the presence of this Ukrainian group in Kinshasa, at a time when the DRC is making considerable efforts to figure in useful order among the major oil and gas producers in the world.

Mr. Franck Tenday Luaba who led the Ukrainian delegation for the Congolese side praised the minister’s perspicacity and his openness in supporting the ambitions of the DRC in the oil and gas sectors.
