Kinshasa, October 10th, 2021 (CPA) .- The Minister of Communication and Media, Patrick Muyaya Katembwe, exchanged Friday for the second time with the heads of cable companies operating in the DRC on issues related to the operation of their companies. This second working session, which falls within the framework of permanent consultations between the ministry and these companies, revolved around three points, namely: legislation and regulations in this area, the Law on fees, adoption and signature of the memorandum of understanding. “We have just finished a very important working session here at the Ministry of Communication and Media. It was a question of putting in order as regards the royalties and the administrative documents to exist as a multiplex cable television company and program editor in the Democratic Republic of Congo. We also talked about the license fee for the Congolese National Radio Television. Because, it is important that we can support this public media, ”said Jean-Thierry Monsenepwo, spokesperson for cable companies operating in the DRC.
