Kinshasa, October 12th, 2021 (CPA), – The study and consulting firm Zylloo Consult in partnership with the Canadian firm Professional Evaluation and Certification Board (PECB), launched Monday in Kinshasa, training sessions for the benefit of executives and agents of the General Directorate of Customs and Excise (DGDA), with a view to their certification to international standards ISO 21500 (project management systems) and ISO 37001 (anti-corruption management systems), the ACP learned on Tuesday from the sources of this Portfolio business. According to Cezzy Kanionga, trainer on the international standard ISO 21500, at the end of this training, the participants will understand the best practices in project management, in order to develop their aptitudes to plan, to implement, to master and to close a project for the achievement of the objectives of their organization. “We have the opportunity to provide an ISO 21500 training session to executives and agents of the DGDA. This is very important because carrying out a project requires a methodology. The right methodology is that dictated by the international standard ISO 21500 on project management. This training is very beneficial for the executives and agents of the DGDA, insofar as it will help them to properly orient the implementation of the projects they manage. The executives who participate are those of the Reform and Planning Directorate who are responsible for proposing customs reforms. These are people who take part in the call for tenders to recruit consultants and carry out the various reforms initiated by the DGDA, ”said the founder of the Zylloo Consult firm. For Mr. Jamel Nagati, international trainer on the ISO 37001 standard, this system is essential in the fight against corruption. It will allow the staff of the DGDA to strengthen the credibility of their company through the strategy of prevention, detection and denunciation of any act of corruption, before adding that the ISO 37001 standard is a standard on anti-corruption management. The staff of the DGDA benefiting from the capacity building session divided into two groups according to the two main themes of this activity which will end next Saturday. ACP/
