The Minister in charge of Transport absorbs the activities of the firm Zahira motors TaTa


Kinshasa, October 26th, 2021 (CPA) .- The Minister in charge of Transport, means of communication and opening up Chérubin Okende Senga, during a visit he made Monday in Kinshasa, immersed himself in the activities of the firm Indian called Zahira Motors, specializing in the sale of TATA vehicles, learned the CPA on Tuesday from the Ministry of Transport. According to the source nothing to leak from the one-on-one meeting between Minister Chérubin Okende and Zahira Motors deputy director Meenu Purohit. But, it is believed that the transport authority in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) intends to assess the possibility of the government to support this enterprise. Moved by the visit of the Minister of Transport, communication routes and opening up, the deputy general manager of Tata Motors expressed the determination of his company to contribute to the improvement of the transport of people and their goods in the DRC. Accompanied by Mr. Meenu Purohit, Minister Okende visited the facilities of this firm, passing from the garage, from the machine room, to the spare parts store. He expressed, on occasion, his feeling of satisfaction before promising support from the government to enable the said company to develop its activities. As a reminder, the company Zahira Motors TaTa is present, not only in Kinshasa, but also in the cities of Lubumbashi in the province of Haut-Katanga, in Kolwezi in the province of Lualaba, since 1990.
