Kinshasa, October 29th, 2021 (CPA) .- The artist-musician Noël Ngiama Makanda alias Werrason has just started work in the studio for the recording of a song in support of free basic education in the DRC, the artist announced Thursday on his social media accounts. Werrason confirmed that the composition of this tube is a tribute that he pays to the Head of State, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi for his vision of effective establishment of free basic education throughout the DRC. , at the same time raising the awareness of social strata, mainly stakeholders in the field of EPST, parents as well as students, to mobilize for the success of this process, which is, moreover, constitutional. Its objective is also to encourage parents to send their children to school and the latter to give themselves up to prepare for their future, specifies the Congolese singer in his message, adding that its content will also emphasize the parents’ duty to reserve a rigorous education for children and teachers to lead their struggle with full responsibility, knowing that the government is doing everything to improve the social conditions of the teaching staff. Singer, composer and author, Werrason was the emblematic figure of the Wenge Musica group in the 1990s. In 1997, he separated from his main collaborator JB Mpiana and created his orchestra, the “Wenge Musica Maison Mère”. He has to his credit several albums on the market without forgetting his participation in the production of many patriotic songs such as « Franc congolais » (1998), « Pona Congo » (1999), etc.
