Prime Minister Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde proceeded, Saturday in the village of Nsangu za Lemba in the Songololo territory in Kongo-Central, to the laying of the foundation stone for the construction of a health center, as part of the government program central for the development at the base of the 145 territories of the DRC initiated by the Head of State Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo.

« The President of the Republic gave me a mandate to launch the construction works of this health center, in memory of Papa Simon Kimbangu« , indicated the Prime Minister, before recalling that during his last visit to Nkamba in September last, the construction of this health center was at the center of his interview with the spiritual leader of the Kimbangist church, Simon Kimbangu Kiangani. This health center, which will bear the name of « Papa Simon Kimbangu », will be erected on land of about 143 hectares belonging to the Kimbanguiste church, in the village of Nsangu za Lemba located 7 km from the center of Songololo in the territory of Songololo.

The ceremony of the laying of the first stone took place after the holding in Kimpese of a meeting of the head of government to kick off this program in this part of the province of Kongo-Central, with in particular the renovation of the Vuzi Nlandu school located in the Madiadia district as well as the rehabilitation of the Kongo dia kati – Sungamene road, one of the 3 sites selected, and the laying of the foundation stone for the drilling of water wells.
