Kinshasa, November 8th, 2021 (CPA) – The construction company « Bahari engineering » has been carrying out, for two weeks, the rehabilitation works of Avenue Itimbiri, located between Place Terminus and Makongo market, as part of « Zero hole in Kinshasa » program, launched last October 14th by the Prime Minister, Sama Lukonde, learned CPA from the work team met on Monday on the spot.
According to technical director Gilbert Kasereka, this work is under the supervision of the Roads and Drainage Office (OVD), for a period of 6 months over a distance of 10 km.
He also specified that these works consist in replacing the parts damaged by concrete, clearing the blocked gutters in the construction of other gutters, affirming that this same work will continue in other avenues where the state of disrepair.
