Kinshasa, December 3rd, 2021 (CPA).– The temporary Governor of Lualaba, Fifi Masuka Saini, presented to Head of State Felix Antoine Tshisekedi the overall situation of his province, during an audience he granted her on Thursday, at the city ​​of the African Union.

According to Fifi Masuka, this is a succinct report of a number of issues relating to the security, economy and basic infrastructure of the entity she heads.

In general, the provincial authority presented a calm situation, stressing that the fight against mining fraud remains its hobbyhorse.

« Mines remain unquestionably one of the driving forces behind the development of the province and the country, and contribute to the observed increase in the national budget », she said.

Regarding the 17 ore trucks recently stopped in Lualaba, by the anti-fraud service, the temporary governor of Lualaba affirmed her support for the work of the justice system in order to punish the outlaws who cause the loss of money to the plublic treasure.

As for infrastructure, she said that Dilolo road and the national number 1 will, at the end of their work, open up the territories of Lomami and connect the entire Kasai area, while other infrastructure including wells, the boreholes are being developed.

Regarding the works at Kolwezi airport, Fifi said again that they are progressing at a fast pace. “The first level is completely finished. The second level, the control tower, the parking lot and the tarmac will be ready at the end of March 2022 according to the contractor”, she said. ACP/Lys
