Kinshasa, December 7th, 2021 (CPA).– FCF Mazembe President Jeff Kapondo Kantanga said he was satisfied with TP Mazembe’s qualification for the Confederation Cup group stage after the return leg against Marumo Gallants of RSA.
The game ended in a goalless Sunday at Nkopwane Stadium in Polokwane in the round of 16 bis Kapondo said TP Mazembe negotiated the first leg at Kamalondo stadium well, winning 1-0, adding that qualifying gives hope to a whole nation.
He also congratulated President Moïse Katumbi, the technical staff and the players for this qualification, before requesting the involvement and support of the entire DRC and stressing that Mazembe remains the sole representative of DRC at the interclub of CAF.
