Blessing FC: Coach Yves Diba grateful to President Tshizaïnga

Kinshasa, December 21st, 2021 (CPA).– Blessing FC de Kolwezi coach Yves Diba Ilunga expressed his gratitude to club president Jean-Marie Tshizaïnga after his team’s victory against Sanga Balende (3-1) on Sunday last at the Martyrs of Pentecost stadium, in match day 11 of the 27th championship of the National Football League (LINAFOOT).

“The long time without playing has helped us to implement a new tactic and a new system of play that I have introduced in this team. It was profitable for us as the players applied themselves well. That’s why I’m proud of them because, at the start, nobody believed it”, said Yves Diba, who started his coaching career with this team.

“I’m not a newcomer to Blessing. If I am Yves Diba Ilunga today, it is in part thanks to President Tshizaïnga and many people do not know it. My life has always been anchored in memories that I cannot throw in the trash overnight. It was Jean-Marie Tshizaïnga, who recruited me from Sporting Club Omnisport Mikishi (SCOM) for Saint Eloi Lupopo from Lubumbashi and I owe him a lot. When I was still in V.Club, I kept helping this team behind the scenes by hiring some of the players Blessing needed. This explains the trust that this leader placed in me. Beyond my coaching status, Blessing remains my family. My dream has always been to one day coach a football team. From my early childhood I had had prophecies that predestined me for them. This is now happening within Blessing », concluded the former Congolese international.
