Kinshasa, December 27th, 2021 (CPA)..- Prime Minister Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde participated with his wife in the 2021 Christmas mass in the parish of Saint Luc de Macampagne, his parish of origin.

The Prime Minister was invited to the final blessing of the solemnity of the nativity of the Lord Jesus Christ known as Messiah and Savior, the prince of peace according to the main celebrant, the abbot parish priest Jean-Pierre Kikonda who organized this protocol, after symbolic delivery of a liturgical calendar.

He had gone for this purpose to the manger where the son of God and savior of mankind was lying. Returning to the homily of circumstances, the abbot parish priest of St Luc de Macampagne indicated that the solemnity of the nativity of the Lord Jesus is an event announced for six centuries by the prophets, a great mystery, far exceeding the human understanding and because of the incarnation of God. “This is what demonstrates the infinite love of God for man by drawing close to him,” he said.

Father Pierre Kikonda reassured his parishioner thus promoted and subjected to the heavy responsibility to the nation of accompanying the parish and urges the rulers in general to work for peace and development in order to lift the population out of poverty. ACP/
