Kinshasa, January 10th, 2022 (CPA) .- The president of the Communal Youth Council of Lemma, Christa Gaga announced on Saturday, during an exchange with the CPA, the beginning for a few days of the preparatory phase of the festival » Mwana Lemba ”scheduled from April 9 to May 9 for the municipality of the same name. He indicated that this festival is envisaged as a large-scale event, having to bring together all the socio-cultural categories of the youth of this municipality, with as a motive the presentation to the public, the fruits of the creativity and the talents of the latter, in the fields of plastic arts, music, literature, etc.
Currently, he confided, his team is sensitizing young people to artists and creators to actively participate in it as well as registering candidates according to the disciplines, before inviting each young person to get involved in the project.
Success of this vast project He underlined that the aim of this activity is to encourage participants to preserve their jobs, to offer them a forum for dialogue with their elders in the various professional sectors as well as to demonstrate the capacities of the inhabitants of this municipality to contribute to the development of the city of Kinshasa and the DRC.
