Congolese Jean-Jacques Ndala will officiate the Ivory Coast-Egypt match


Kinshasa, January 25th, 2022 (CPA).- Congolese international referee Jean-Jacques Ndala Ngambo was appointed on Monday by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), to officiate the Ivory Coast-Egypt match of the 8th of final of the 33rd African Cup of Nations (CAN) football 2022.

The round of 16 between the Elephants of Côte d’Ivoire and the Pharaohs of Egypt will take place on Wednesday January 26th at 5:00 p.m. at Japoma stadium in Douala. Jean-Jacques Ndala will be assisted by his compatriot Olivier Safari Kabene.

This match will be the second for the Congolese at CAN Cameroon 2022 after the match between Cameroon and Ethiopia, which resulted in the victory of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon (4-0).
