Kinshasa, January 27th, 2022 (CPA).– The provincial Minister in charge of Interior, Security and Justice, Didier Tenge te Litho began on Thursday a special mission of inspections of the municipal administrations attached to Lukunga district, within the framework of the awareness of managers and agents to more professional commitment.
For this first day, Minister Tenge te Litho visited the municipalities of Ngaliema and Kintambo, where he called the staff concerned to order, inviting them to honor their commitment to the State.
He told them, on behalf of the urban authority, of some weaknesses observed in the implementation of the instructions on security, the five-year program « Kinshasa-Bopeto » and the normal functioning of their respective administrative entities.
« At a time when DRC, under the initiative of the President of the Republic, Felix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo is committed to the organization of the 9th Games of Francophonia, nothing can be left to chance to avoid anything that tarnishes the beauty of the capital », he declare.
Joint efforts between municipalities and the police to eradicate anti-values
The Provincial Minister in charge of Interior, Security and Justice has instructed the mayors to lend a hand to the Congolese National Police to establish the authority of the State, as a public power, with regard to environmental sanitation, security, the fight against noise pollution, the regulation of the opening and closing hours of drinking establishments and others.
He recommended to the mayors to establish regular daily reports of their administrative entities, on the list of churches, houses in a state of abandonment, areas of insecurity as well as the regular holding of security meetings with police stations and others.
The mayor of Ngaliema, Dieu Merci Mayibanzi Luanga Divengi and his colleague from Kintambo, Fatou Inona, their heads of neighborhoods and heads of services also took part in these exchanges.
