FECOFA publishes the calendar in relation to the revision of its texts

Kinshasa, February 17th, 2022 (CPA).- The Congolese Federation of Association Football (FECOFA) has made public the calendar in connection with the revision of its statutes and its electoral code, indicates the website of the technical body of Congolese football.

According to the site, the delegates of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to the Congolese Federation of Association Football (FECOFA) arrived at the development of this calendar last Tuesday at the end of the meeting by videoconference.

The schedule indicates that the first stage of this schedule, the deadline of which is set at the end of the current month of February, is devoted to the receipt of proposals for amendments to the statutes by the stakeholders, adding that 5 entities concerned by this work, including leagues, have already executed and sent their draft amendments.

The statutory meeting scheduled for May 28th

The 2nd stage of the established calendar will be reserved for the synthesis of the proposals to be sent to FIFA-CAF for its analysis, on March 7th. It will follow, during the same month, the integration of the validated proposals in the draft statutes sent by FIFA on January 26th.

The beginning of April 2022 will see the organization of a workshop to validate the texts of DR Congo in which FIFA and CAF will take part in view of the discussions on the draft statutes article by article and the latest modifications and important suggestions. The 2nd and 3rd weeks of April will be devoted to the finalization of the texts between FIFA-CAF delegates.

Between April 21st and 25th, the meeting of FECOFA Executive Committee will be held on the adoption of the statutes and the convening of the general assembly in May 2022.

On May 28th, the last stage of the timetable will take place with the menu of the statutory general assembly for the adoption of the statutes concomitantly with the finalization of the electoral code.
