Governor Gentiny Ngobila inaugurates the facilities of the Congolese Security Techniques Society

Kinshasa, March 5th, 2022 (CPA).- The governor of the city of Kinshasa, Gentiny Ngobila Mbaka, proceeded on Friday to the inauguration of the facilities of the Congolese Technical Security Company (STC), during a ceremony organized in the municipality of Limete. In his speech, the provincial executive of Kinshasa indicated that it is a partnership between the city of Kinshasa and the TSC, with a view to palliating the security of people and their property linked to the identification and to motorcycle information by implementing secure motorcycle license plates and pink cards. In these facilities there is also a Technical Control Center for motorcycles. “To date, the safety and technical control of motorcycles are an integral part of the major concerns to which the Kinshasa provincial executive must provide lasting solutions, a guarantee of safety for the people of Kinshasa, who increasingly use motorcycles as one of the means of public transport. This is why we have signed the partnership with TSC, in order to create local employment using the local workforce”, explained the governor. For him, this partnership with the TSC Company pursues a clear objective, that of making Kinshasa a more habitable, more secure and safer city where accidents caused by motorcycles will be significantly reduced. « Any motorcycle will be traceable by reliable information through more efficient software in order to authenticate the pink card in order to facilitate the elements of the Road Police, the search for the license plate either by the number of the plate, either by the chassis number, or by the engine number, or even by the name of the physical or moral owner,” he said. While thanking the TSC partner for the expertise it will make available to the city of Kinshasa, Governor Gentiny Ngobila called on Kinshasa people to show patriotism and civic-mindedness as well as to fulfill their civic obligations in obtaining these useful and necessary documents to circulate in the city in order to ensure the safety of drivers, users and owners of motorcycles. In these facilities there is also a technical control center for motorcycles. This ceremony, which ended with a guided tour of the TSC facilities, was marked by the presence of several personalities, in particular the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in the DRC and the President of the Kinshasa Provincial Assembly.
