The president of the CSC encourages the members of his corporation to resume activities

Kinshasa, March 21st, 2022 (CPA).- The president of the Trade Union Confederation of Congo (CSC), Guy Kolela Tshibangu, encouraged the members of his corporation to resume their activities, during a General Assembly of the reunion, organized on Saturday , by the daily office of the CSC, in the large hall of the Fatima parish in the commune of Gombe.

“After two years marked by the health crisis, the confinements and the permanent adaptation of the union to the situation, the CSC is happy to hold the general assembly in person. We all want to see each other, in flesh and blood to find ourselves, take a look at this year 2022, collectively look at our union and analyze together the challenges of society that present themselves before us, « said the President of CSC.

For Guy Kolela Tshibangu, this meeting to resume contact aims, among other things, to remind members of the importance of paying their dues, in order to allow the CSC to keep its position as one of the most powerful interprofessional confederations in unions in the DRC.

“The priority for this year is training, capacity building because the CSC is doing development unionism which consists in taking into account the considerations of workers”, he underlined. In her capacity as the general secretary in charge of the national department of working women at the CSC, Brigitte Shadari Mukonkole welcomed the relaunch of the activities of the CSC while specifying that on March 24, the women of the CSC will celebrate their day.

She thus took advantage of the occasion to recall that the emancipation of women is not a gift but rather a fight that a woman herself will carry out for her empowerment in order to enable her to overcome the difficulties that hinder its development. ACP/
