Lubumbashi, May 2nd, 2022 (CPA).- The Director General of the Congolese Press Agency (CPA), Professor Lambert Kaboyi and the Presidential Press Director Erik Nyindu, met on Saturday at the Karavia Hotel in Lubumbashi , where they agreed on the principles of working in synergy between the CPA and the presidential press, in the treatment of information relating to presidential activities. To this end, the two officials have agreed to meet regularly to discuss a common editorial line in order to avoid any misunderstanding about information concerning the highest authority in the country. With this in mind, Professor Lambert Kaboyi requested and obtained from his interlocutor, an increase in the number of CPA permanent staff at the Presidency of the Republic. While acknowledging the need to strengthen this team of CPA permanent staff at the Presidency of the Republic, Erik Nyindu insisted on the presence of female journalists within this new team.
