Isiro, May 16th, 2022 (CPA).- Four (4) new public accountants recently appointed by the Minister of Finance were sworn in on Friday in Isiro, capital of Haut-Uélé province. This activity coupled with the installation of these new State accountants took place in the multipurpose room of the official residence of the governors in the presence of the provincial Minister in charge of Finance, Ismaël Ebunze Magadi, who presided over this ceremony on behalf of the provincial governor. , Christophe Baseane Nangaa, the delegation of the national Ministry of Finance, the head of the provincial finance division, other state and parastatal services as well as other personalities invited for the occasion.
It all started with the presentation of the state accounting code in the DRC by the head of the delegation from Kinshasa, Yvon Babadi. Addressing the new accountants, the latter called on the winners to respect the laws and regulations of finance which are an obligation in their sovereign missions.
Acting on behalf of Governor Baseane Nangaa, the Provincial Minister of Finance, Ismaël Ebunze Magadi, paid tribute to the Head of State, Félix -Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, for having pacified the country and put man at the center of any action of development; and to the provincial governor who, he says, spares no effort to materialize the vision of the President of the Republic in his entity. Ismaël Ebunze Magadi, also called on the sworn in to respect the rules and laws that govern this sector of public finance in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
He presented his warm greetings to the winners before requesting from the supervisory ministry through the delegation, the addition of other accountants in accordance with the need of the province. In his capacity as representative of the number one public finance in the province, Ismaël Ebunze promised that he will spare no effort to help new public accountants for any recurring problem that may arise in this area. The ceremony ended with a visit to various departments for the installation of these new accountants, including the provincial assembly and the provincial ministry of finance. ACP/
