Lubumbashi, May 26th, 2022 (CPA).- The provincial director of the National Agency for the Development of Congolese Entrepreneurship (ANADEC), Chrispin Ndala took part on Wednesday in the seminar on trade and investment in Lubumbashi in the province du Haut Katanga, the CPA learned Thursday from this structure. Organized by the trade mission of the Republic of Zimbabwe with its structure called « Zim Trad », this seminar aims to facilitate links between Congolese and Zimbabwean entrepreneurs and to increase trade between the two States. Speaking on behalf of the Director General of ANADEC, Mr. Ndala, provincial director of this institution, intervened under the theme: « legal techniques to promote trade between entrepreneurs in the DRC and Zimbabwe ». He presented , to this end, the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the DRC in general and that of Haut-Katanga in particular. At the same time, some techniques and usual commercial contracts were explained to these businessmen, in particular the possibility of being accompanied directly to the creation of a company with Zimbabwean capital in the DRC, the possibility for a company with Zimbabwean capital to subscribe to the shareholding of a company with Congolese capital and also indirectly trade in the entrepreneurial technique of franchising in international as a commercial and usual contract. The « Zim Trad », he said, is the national organization for the development and promotion of trade in Zimbabwe, it is an umbrella structure for entrepreneurs in this country, including thirty (30) Zimbabwean companies representing a large range of sectors from fruits and vegetables, processed foods, construction materials, mining consumables, engineering services, agricultural inputs and tools, and production clothing marked their presence in these meetings. Mr. Chrispin Ndala indicated that these meetings were opened on the 20th of the current month by the provincial Minister of Economy and Trade of the province of Katanga. On this occasion, Mrs. Céline Kanyeba paid a vibrant tribute to the two Heads of State, Emerson Mnangagwa and Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi for their common determination to build win-win relations based on trust and brotherhood through SADEC. She also welcomed the commitment of the governor of the province of Haut Katanga Jacques Kyabula Katwe for the materialization of the vision of the President of the Republic Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi, which vision is based, among other things, on the priorities of improving the business climate. and the diversification of the economy with the aim of creating a social and economic middle class. Note that this mission was led by the Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe in the DRC with his consul general based in Lubumbashi. Several institutions specializing in various sectors took part in this activity, in particular the General Directorate of Migration (DGM), the General Directorate of Customs and Excise (DGDA), the one-stop shop for business creation and the Federation of Congolese Companies (FEC).
