Kinshasa, May 26th, 2022 (CPA).- The rector of the University of CEPROMAD (UNIC), Emeritus Professor Oscar Nsaman-O-Lutu, on Wednesday placed the festivities of the fourth anniversary of UNIC and the board of directors of universities of CEPROMAD in the DRC, under the sign of the reforms and innovations to be carried out within this Establishment. Professor Nsaman, who opened this dual activity at the UNIC site, in the commune of Masina, in Kinshasa, indicated that his Alma mater, leader in management and marketing in the DRC, campaigned during these 40 years for training geared towards the creation of jobs and wealth as well as the fight against poverty. For 40 years, his University has contributed to the training of several senior executives and scientists in the DRC, even from African countries. UNIC, which has a network of more than 20 universities located in the provinces of the DRC, organizes management in the fields of economics, computer sciences, social sciences, law, agronomic sciences, environmental and community development as well as medical science and technology. He insisted in his opening and inaugural speech of these festivities of 40 years of existence and the holding of the CEPROMAD university network board of directors from May 25th to 28th, 2022 on respect for the values characterizing this university.
Recognition of the peace efforts and reforms initiated by the Head of State and the government
In addition, Professor Nsaman praised the Head of State Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo and the government for the efforts to bring peace to all the territories of the country as well as the major reforms initiated in the sector of Higher and University Education. (ESU) through ESU Minister Muhindo Nzangi. He also mentioned UNIC’s five-year strategic plan, the emphasis of which is on the reforms to be carried out in the three university cycles organized in the License-Master-Doctorate (LMD) system. To achieve the objectives of this strategic plan, he invited the participants in these meetings to reflect in depth with the academic directives, the resolutions of the states general of the ESU, with the triumph of « Nsamanism » emphasizing the management . The management specialist, Professor Nsaman, recalled the quality of the various executives, DEA candidates and doctors trained with the collaboration of other universities as well as numerous prizes and medals obtained in the world through this management training at CEPROMAD University.
