Bandundu, June 22nd, 2022 (CPA)–Vendors working in small businesses in the Ifuri district, in the commune of Basoko in Bandundu, capital of Kwilu province, are victims of acts of violence perpetrated by a group of young people, often in a state of drunkenness, who stripped of their possessions, day and night. The collective of saleswomen who recently denounced the extent of juvenile delinquency in this administrative entity, pointed out that these uncivil people target mobile phones, jewellery, sums of money which they delight from their victims to whom they often inflict inhuman treatment in case of resistance. He asked competent authorities to strengthen the staff of the Congolese National Police (PNC) in these areas to properly ensure the safety of people and their property.
