Kinshasa, July 18th, 2022 (CPA).- The national deputy and moral Authority of the « Front for a New Congo » (FPCN), Claude Nyamugabo Bazibuhe, has been staying since Saturday in Bukavu, in the province of South Kivu, in a presentation campaign and establishment of his political party, member of the Sacred Union of the Nation.
“I am returning to South Kivu with another quality, that of the moral authority of a political party. Quality that I didn’t have the other time I was here. As you know, I was appointed by the co-founders of the “Front Pour un Congo Nouveau” (FPCN). I come to talk about this political party of the Sacred Union at my base in South Kivu, and also to establish the party through the 8 territories and the 4 cities of the province of South Kivu”, he indicated. At the head of a group of progressive elites, Professor Claude Nyamugabo Bazibuhe, on parliamentary vacation, was greeted by a jubilant crowd on his arrival in Bukavu, early Saturday afternoon.
It is from Bukavu, we know, that the long journey began, inaugurating a long march that should lead to the rooting of this political formation, before the conquest of the deep Congo.
The national deputy will proceed, on the sidelines of the establishment of his party, to the inauguration of several development works initiated recently in favor of the Kivu community.
Make the Congolese a new man
Justice for all, productive work, protection of the environment, promotion of women’s entrepreneurship and youth, promotion of peasantry and above all solidarity, are just some of the objectives among many others pursued by this new political formation.
Speaking of the ideology of this political party, Claude Nyamugabo said that the DRC is behind on several levels, and requires « new » men to catch up. Hence the idea of creating this new political party that aims for change.
“We have to work on the Congolese man, make him a new man who will evolve in a new Congo. And for that, our country must have a substantial budget to allow the Republic to address certain subjects that are not very much discussed, “said the former Governor of South Kivu.
According to Me Claude Nyamugabo, approached by the ACP, the FPCN is part of the Sacred Union of the Nation and supports President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, whose victory he announced in the next presidential election of 2023.
