Lubumbashi, August 3rd 2022(CPA).- Twenty-four (24) suspected bandits recently apprehended by the police in the commune of Kampemba, during the operation carried out jointly by the General Intelligence Department and the specialized unit of intervention, were recently presented by the provincial commissioner ai, colonel Ilunga Katwamba Norbert, to the vice-governor of Haut-Katanga, Jean-Claude Kamfwa Kimimba, during a ceremony of public presentation of these bandits, organized at the provincial governorate in the presence of several members of the provincial security council.
These thugs, including 9 repeat offenders, 2 receivers and a woman, all come from the Taba Congo, Kaleja, Bel air1, Bel air 2, Bongonga and Vangu camps neighborhoods.
Faced with this nice dragnet carried out by the police, Jean Claude Kamfwa congratulated the elements of the PNC for their bravery which will allow the population to live in peace, while demanding severe punishment from these bandits who disturb the tranquility of the population. Colonel Ilunga Katwamba Norbert then presented them to the population of the Kaleja district, victim of several cases of theft, so that they could rightly appreciate the work done by the Congolese National Police.
