Kinshasa, August 17th, 2022 (CPA).- Workers from the National Office for Agricultural Products of Congo (ONAPAC) organized a sit-in at the prime minister’s office on Tuesday to remind Prime Minister Jean Michel Sama Lukonde of his promise on the alignment of the staff of this office with the 2022 annex budget.
According to the main delegate trade unionist, Olivier Bosangwelo, this initiative is done in order to seek an audience with the Prime Minister in order to pass the message which is that of asking him to fulfill his promise.
“We have come to launch an SOS with Prime Minister Sama Lukonde to get him personally involved in this file for the improvement of the social conditions of the agents and executives of this company,” he said.
On September 30, 2021, Prime Minister Jean Michel Sama Lukonde was received at ONAPAC and he had become aware of the social conditions of workers, he promised the alignment of the latter with the 2022 annex budget to support.
ONAPAC, formerly known as the Office zaïrois du café (OZACAF) and recently before 2019, it was Office national du café (ONC) said company was once able to dress the armed forces.
