Frenchman Rodolphe Duvernet, 49, was appointed, on Monday, physical trainer of Tout-Puissant Mazembe Englebert of Lubumbashi, the club’s management announced on its official website. Rodolphe Duvernet who is a French trainer specializing in physical preparation, has worked in many French clubs including Valenciennes, Auxerre, Evian and Bastia.
He has also worked for Videoton in Hungary, Saligorsk in Belarus, El Ghorafa SC in Qatar, El Aïn FC in the United Arab Emirates; in Africa, he worked in turn with the African Club of Senegal, JS Kabylie and USM Algeria.
He succeeds his compatriot, Alexandre Cappolani, who saw his contract terminated last July for internal problems.
