Kinshasa, September 11th, 2022 (CPA).- The Minister of Higher and University Education (ESU), Muhindo Nzangi Butondo called on the student community of the Kinshasa Higher Institute of Commerce (ISC/KIN) to calm down and consult academic instruction relating to academic fees, during a meeting on Friday in his office, with a delegation of students from this public establishment.
The students denounced the increase in academic fees within their institute, which has been the basis of a protest movement since Thursday on this campus.
Discussions between the two parties will continue on Monday, with a view to finding an appropriate solution.
Ongoing rehabilitation of INBTP infrastructure
In addition, the works under construction and modernization of modern auditoriums and dormitories within the National Institute of Building and Public Works (INBTP/Kinshasa) are progressing normally, to the satisfaction of Minister Muhindo Nzangi Butondo who paid a visit inspection, Friday, on this site.

These works, it is pointed out, are carried out using the government’s own funds.
