Kinshasa, September 21nd, 2022 (CPA) – The prices of commercial mining products, namely copper, cobalt and zinc, are on the rise during the period from September 19th to 24th, 2022 on the international market, indicates the National Commission of official prices of the Ministry in charge of Foreign Trade, in a statement received on Wednesday at CPA.
According to the release, copper is trading at USD 8,001.00 per ton this week from USD 7,674.95 per ton the week of September 12th-17th, 2022.
For cobalt, the price per ton is USD 51,267.00, this week against USD 51,265.00, per ton, last week.
The ton of zinc costs, this week, USD 3,238.70 against USD 3,218.85, the week of September 12th to 17th, 2022.
However, the source informs that the other mining products namely tin, gold and tantalum have experienced a decline during the period under review, trading respectively at USD 21,679.00 against USD 22,615.00 the tonne, the week of September 12th to 17th, 2022; USD 55.61 versus USD 55.90 per gram last week and USD 392.00 versus USD 408.00 per kilogram the week of September 12th-17th, 2022.
Robusta coffee, Arabica coffee and rubber prices stable
On the other hand, said the National Commission of Mercurial Prices of the Ministry in charge of Foreign Trade, the prices of Robusta coffee, Arabica coffee and that of rubber remained stable on the international market, during the period from September 19th to 24th 2022.
These products trade respectively at USD 2.21 per kilogram; USD 4.19 per kilogram and USD 0.65 per kilogram.
In addition, other agricultural products and forestry menus, namely cocoa, papain, cinchona bark, totaquina powder, quinine salt and Rauwolfia, have experienced a decline over the same period on the international market. .
These products trade respectively at USD 1.19 against. USD 1.29 per kilogram, the week of September 12th-17th, 2022; USD 17.4 against USD 17.58 per kilogram last week; USD 2.02 against USD 2.04 per kilogram, the week of September 12th to 17th, 2022; USD 59.40 versus USD 60.00 per kilogram last week; USD 100.98 versus USD 102.00 last week and USD 1.68 versus USD 1.70 per kilogram the week of September 12th to 17th, 2022.
