Goma, September 23rd, 2022 (CPA) – Prime Minister Jean Michel Sama Lukonde Kyenge has been staying in Goma, capital of Nord Kivu province since Thursday, after Ituri, to continue assessing the state of headquarters.
Responding to the press when he got off the plane, Prime Minister Sama Lukonde recognized the particularity of the problems facing the province of Nord Kivu where, despite the state of siege, specific problems are observed.
Prime Minister Sama Lukonde wanted to explain the aggression of which Nord Kivu is the victim on the part of Rwanda, before reassuring the population of the support provided by his delegation « not only to the armed forces but also to the authorities in square « .
Speaking of the people affected by the insecurity in Nord Kivu, the Prime Minister expressed the compassion of the Central Government towards these affected compatriots, promising that a work will be done in all serenity, with the Governor, the members of the provincial security committee as well as the living forces, to reach the most vulnerable layers.
As soon as he arrived, the Prime Minister chaired a meeting of the provincial security committee in the Governorate of Nord Kivu province, an opportunity for him and his suite to get an idea of the exact situation prevailing in this part of DRC.
In Goma, the agenda of the Head of Government, who has six ministers in his suite as well as delegates from the National Assembly and the Senate, provides for exchanges with “all the vital forces of the Nation to better guide action on the ground”.
On his descent from the plane at Goma International Airport, the Head of the Central Government was greeted on his descent from the plane by the Governor of Nord Kivu province, Lieutenant General Constant Ndima Kongba, surrounded by members of the committee provincial security.
That was before communing with the large crowd massed from the parking lot to the airport exit gate.
