Kinshasa, October 10th 2022 (CPA).– The Provincial Assembly of Kinshasa (APK) headed by its president, Godefroid Mpoyi, paid its last respects on Monday at its headquarters in Gombe municipality in Kinshasa, to the late provincial elected, Marie Muabi Tumba, died last Tuesday, October 4th following an illness.
Qualified by the president of APK of a « Model of women », the president of APK, recognized the deceased, a woman who, throughout her services, remained in conformity with the principles of the economy in with regard to the management of public affairs.
For him, this way of working in public administration should inspire and guide other women who work everywhere and in all sectors of professional life. Referring to some differences of views between him and the illustrious deceased, Godefroid Mpoyi acknowledged that these finally contributed to the installation of a good atmosphere within the Provincial Assembly.
Known for her philanthropic works, Marie Tumba Muabi was a promoter of a school and an NGO bearing her name, acting director general of the provincial directorate general of outdoor advertising in Kinshasa (DGPEK) and was elected twice, provincial deputy for the Tshangu constituency. ACP/
