Kinshasa, October 10th, 2022 (CPA).- ipers FC from Uganda and TP Mazembe from the DRC separated in balance of power, with a score of a white draw (0-0), Sunday, in Kampala, in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League.
With this meeting, the Lushois Ravens thus delivered their first match in this continental circuit. On the strength of this result, the qualification for the group stage of this competition will be played on Sunday, October 16, at the TP Mazembe stadium in the municipality of Kamalondo where the Englebertois will have only one option for their survival, in the case, that of the imperative victory. Any draw, with goal(s), will be suicidal for the foals of French coach Franck Dumas.
Mazembe, who is an old monkey in this kind of opposition, will be able to pull the pin well, to eject Vipers from the race for qualification.
