Kinshasa, October 17th, 2022 (CPA) – DC Motema Pembe of Kinshasa, DRC overthrew Saint Michel United of Seychelles by 2-0, on Sunday, at the Martyrs of Pentecost stadium, in the second leg of the second Confederation Cup round of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The green, white and red went straight into attack from the start of the game and scored the first equalizing goal in the first fifteen minutes through Jonathan Ikangalombo (12th) on a decisive pass from Rachidi Musinga Kwamambu on a big day. A score that will remain there until the return of the two teams to the locker room by Central African central referee Andre Onesime Kolissala Mbangui.

After the lemons, the match becomes very engaged and disputed between the two formations. The Immaculate will give their all, even forgetting the defence and scaring themselves twice after several defensive errors.

Once again, salvation will come in the last eighteen minutes of the game on the left side after a good combination between Christian Ngimbi and the man of the match Rachidi Musinga who eliminates two Seychellois players, gave the ball on the plateau of gold to Platini Mpiana Monzinzi (78th) on the low foot plan of the Seychellois goalkeeper Alvin Michel for the 2-0, synonymous with qualification for the play-off whose DCMP must wait for the name of his opponent during the draw between the qualified from the Confederation Cup and dumped from the second round of the Champions League.
