Kinshasa, November 11th, 2022(CPA).-The price of a ton of copper is slightly up on the international market, trading at USD 7,681.35 in the week from November 7 to 12 November, against USD 7,617.25 in the week from October 31st to November 5th, says the report of the mercurial prices of commercial mining products of the Ministry of Foreign Trade received on Friday by CPA
Other products such as gold and silver have also seen a slight increase in price on the same international market during the same period, trading respectively at USD 53.47 against USD 53.38 and USD 0.63 against USD 0.62 per gram.
The statement notes that the prices of zinc and tin have declined during the period under review, trading respectively at USD 2,840.35 against USD 2,967.95 and USD 18,515.00 against USD 19,119.00 per ton. It notes, moreover, that cobalt and tantalum remained stable during the same period, trading respectively at USD 51,260.00 per ton and USD 370.00 per kilogram.
Robusta and Arabica coffee prices down on the international market
Agricultural products such as Robusta and Arabica coffee have also seen a drop in price on the international market, trading respectively at USD 1.82 against USD 1.92 and USD 3.06 against USD 3.26 per kilogram during the period from 07 to 12 November 2022, according to the National Commission on Price Mercurials of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
On the other hand, other agricultural products and forestry menus, namely, cocoa, papain, cinchona peel, totaquina powder, quinine salt and rauwolfia have increased during the same period on the international market. These products are trading at USD 1.27 vs. USD 1.24; USD 17.58 vs. USD 17.4; USD 2.04 vs. USD 2.02; USD 60.00 vs. USD 59.40; USD 102 vs. USD 100.98; and USD 1.70 vs. USD 1.68 per kilogram respectively. However, the price of rubber remained stable on the international market during the same period, trading at US$0.65 per kilogram. ACP/
