Need to enhance the real estate sector in the DRC

Kinshasa, December 2rd, 2022 (CPA). – The need to promote the real estate sector and real estate brokers in the same way as bankers and lawyers and to ensure compliance with certain laws already enacted, are among the recommendations made at the end of a workshop capacity building of real estate brokers, Friday, in the municipality of Lingwala.

“The participants in these meetings also recommended to the association of real estate brokers of Congo (ACIVK) to make the high council of trade union associations of brokers and intermediaries, a framework for consultations of this professional category for the proper functioning of this sector, the continuity of training, seminars and conferences to improve further”, we learn.

For his part, the president of the ACIVK, Moustapha Tshamala reassured the participants, of the implementation of these resolutions, before asking the Congolese State to consider the request of the brokers, in order to meet the challenges related to the real estate field.

 Organized on December 1st, and 2nd, 2022, by the Association of Real Estate Brokers of Congo, this activity focused on the theme: « Who is a real estate broker and who is not ». Created in June 2011, the ACIVK, ASBL’s mission is to secure its members, to support the Congolese State by ensuring compliance with the laws governing the real estate sector. Its objectives are the supervision of its members, social and legal assistance, the creation of a framework of conditions between the entities, in order to facilitate the latter’s control and to create an authority capable of managing all the brokers. scattered throughout the Republic.
