LISPED: the Court of Cassation wins before the Matete Bar (2-0) and wins the title of the 16th edition

Kinshasa, December 5th, 2022 (CPA).-  The Clerks of the Court of Cassation won before the Bar of Matete (Dura lex, sed lex), by 2-0, Saturday, at the Martyrs de la Pentecost stadium, in the commune of Kinshasa, in the final of the 16th edition of the football tournament called Justice and leisure, organized by the Sports League for the promotion of the defense of human rights (LISPED).

The Court of Cassation thus snatched the title of the 16th edition of this tournament for the second time thanks to the achievements of Gaël Muke (3rd) and Pelete (20th).

The clerk and captain of the team, Bienvenu Baka, who received the palm of leadership of this competition reserved for judicial actors, said he was the happiest man to have won this title twice with the Court of Cassation and several times with the Constitutional Court.

“I am overjoyed for this trophy. God remains the only secret of this success. It’s about being in communion with him, in everything we do, « he said with joy, brushing aside the allegations made by the losing team who castigated excessive use of black feet.

“The main thing for us was to beat our opponent and especially that the number 1 of our jurisdiction was present. For the 17th edition, we think with God, we will still do exploits,” said Bienvenu Baka.

“I am among the happiest people because I have attended different matches from time to time. I am happy to see that football is inviting itself into the judiciary. It’s amazing. I am also very happy with the result and the organization, even the support of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. As LISPED ambassador, I would like to see this tournament expand to the provinces and not just to the capital. And, I will be the first to present a project in this direction, “said the provincial deputy of Haut-Lomami, Ngoy Nsenga, present at the ceremony of awarding the trophy to the winning team. ACP/
