A Special Fund for the Advancement of Youth Entrepreneurial Projects

Kinshasa, December 6th, 2022 (CPA).-The question of the Special Fund for the promotion, entrepreneurship and employment of young people in subcontracting was at the center of discussions, Monday in Kinshasa, between Minister Yves Bunkulu and the president of the club national subcontracting Gabriel Tshetende, learned the CPA from the Ministry of Youth.

« This Special Fund will serve as a lever to advance Entrepreneurship projects and youth activities on the one hand, and on the other hand to see to what extent to set up a partnership to better support young people », declared Mr. Gabriel Tshetende.

The president of the national subcontracting club said he had studied mechanisms for setting up an effective system for supervising young people in this sector.

“There is, however, a serious funding problem. Reason for our visit-advocacy to see to what extent to find a solution,” he added.

According to him, in the coming days the national club of subcontracting will raise funds which will serve as a guarantee for its members in order to face the financing of projects. He noted that outsourcing will not only go to the public sector, but also to the private sector to expand the scope of activities.

Minister Yves Bunkulu, for his part, promised to support them with the Special Fund for the promotion, entrepreneurship and employment of young people already in place. « The promotion of the activities of young entrepreneurs is my priority », insisted the Minister.
