Lubumbashi, December 12th, 2022 (CPA).- The German-Congolese Agency « AGC », in partnership with the GIZ, organized during three days in Lubumbashi, capital of the province of Haut-Katanga, a training workshop on women’s leadership in for women in civil society working in the mining sectors.
Placed under the theme « impact », the expert at the AGC, Véronique Omango invited the participants to recognize their talent and capacity as well as their competence to be able to train themselves and train others.
“A leader must have a managerial spirit and a sense of dedication. He must internalize the notion of time management in order to plan priority needs and urgent needs, « she explained, inviting on this occasion, each of the participants insofar as she is alive, to exercise her leadership among women and men.
She recognized the fact that women are more concerned with the formal economy, the basis of their contribution to their development.
For their part, the participants thanked the organizers of this workshop and promised to put into practice all the knowledge learned.
More than 15 participants in this workshop each received a certificate of merit from the AGC, as part of their training focused on female leadership, it is noted. ACP/
