Kananga, December 26th, 2022 (CPA).- The Kasai Central Provincial Justice Division said it was satisfied with the execution of 80% of the construction works of a hangar to serve as a framework for learning trades for prisoners in the prison center of Kananga, its manager, Raymond Samasaka, said on Monday,
« In addition to this shed, an agricultural farm for the benefit of this prison will soon be inaugurated in the locality of Mwamba Mbuyi, 30 km from the city of Kananga », he announced, noting that the construction of this infrastructure is jointly funded by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and MONUSCO.
Raymond Samasaka also noted 3 cases of escape in 2022 due to the dilapidated infrastructure of Kananga central prison, the competent services having put everything in motion to catch the fugitives. ACP/
