Good governance: « Women’s prize » awarded to the Minister in charge of Mines

Kinshasa, January 23rd, 2023 (CPA) – The woman’s prize was awarded on Friday to the Minister in charge of Mines, Antoinette N’samba Kalambayi, selected among the winners of the « Muana Mboka » Trophy evening organised at the Pullman Hotel in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

« Her choice was made thanks to her results-oriented management, the Minister of Mines has several achievements to her credit, including the signing of the Inter-ministerial Order on the management of the 0.3% of turnover allocation in favour of local communities impacted by mining activities with her colleague from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Humanitarian Actions, the signing of the second amendment to the contract with the Spanish company X-Calibur for airborne geophysical mapping of the six priority blocks contained in the National Strategic Exploration Plan for the certification of the DRC’s mining reserves and many other achievements », said the organisers of this trophy

In her speech, Minister N’samba thanked the Head of State, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo and Prime Minister Jean Michel Sama for the mark of confidence shown towards her.

« I would like to thank the Head of State, His Excellency Mr. Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo who made me the first woman to head this strategic ministry and I would also like to thank Prime Minister Sama Lukonde who is implementing the vision of the Head of State, » she said.

She expressed her gratitude to all her collaborators in the specialised services and the ministry before thanking the organisers of this Muana Mboka Trophy.
