Durba, February 6th, 2023 (CPA).- The new administrator of the Watsa territory in the Haut-Uélé province, Papy Magay Misa, took office last Thursday, during a handover ceremony with his predecessor Innocent Makanda Lubusu.
The outgoing administrator of the territory painted a bleak picture of the ills that plague this territory, the economic lung of Haut-Uélé, before inviting the population to lend a hand to his successor.
The ceremony was presided over by the provincial minister of the interior, security, decentralisation and customary affairs, in the presence of other authorities, political parties and the local population.
